Polaroid
Creative Techniques
"Polaroid
Creative Techniques” was an afternoon workshop for
students Grade 9 through adult. Rhona Shand who teaches
photography and illustration at Pittsburg State University
and oversees the education program at Spiva Center for the
Arts taught the April 30th class.
“The interesting thing about the Polaroid techniques
is that the processes allow you to ‘print’ or
transfer photographic images onto all kinds of surfaces—wood,
metal, ceramic, watercolor paper, etc. The results can be
awesome!” Shand noted.
Once the images were dried, color pencil, paint or collage
techniques could be used to further enhance the image.
