Drawn to Paint
Students explored line, form and value, then used their imagination
and skill of hand to paint the "unobserved" in plain sight!

Instructor:
Brenda Sageng, working artist and art educator.
The week of July 26 – 30 students in grades 3 through 7 and grades 8 and above learned to
draw by exploring line, form, and value at George A. Spiva Center for the Arts. Twenty-one
students participated in the morning and afternoon classes. Motorcycles from the exhibit
"Art and the Open Road: Motorcycles, Images, Icons" in the main gallery were used as objects of study.
